Wife 1.0

Dear Tech Support:

Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend version 7.0 to Wife version 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources. In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity. Applications such as Poker Night 10.3, Football 5.0 , Hunting and Fishing 7.5, and Racing 3.6.

I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. I'm thinking
about going back to Girlfriend 7.0 , but the uninstall doesn't work on Wife 1.0. Please help!

Thanks,
A Troubled User

SOLUTION:

Dear Troubled User:

This is a very common problem that our male customers complain about.

Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM..

You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings-Alimony-Child Support. I recommend that you keep Wife 1.0 and work on installing the required patches. I suggest installing the background application "Yes Dear" to alleviate software augmentation.

The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE because ultimately you will have to use the APOLOGIZE command before the system can return to normal anyway.

Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0, Cook 1.5 and Do Bills 4.2.

However, be very careful how you use these programs Improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag-Nag-Nag 9.5 sub system. Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0!

WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, install "Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3" - This application is not compatiblle with Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible system damage!

Best of luck,
Tech Support

Superstore and memory problems!

Superstore is a big store in Canada which most people go there often to buy their groceries.
A bus is dedicated to the residence that I am living in on Sundays 1:20 PM. Also small number of days are exceptions ...

Last week Saturday!, 1:15 : I rushed through to not miss the bus. Meeting few people in the way, I realized that Sunday usually comes after Saturday!

Last week Sunday, 1:15 : We were only "three" people waiting downstairs for the bus. One of us guessed that today is the special date which the bus never comes!

Today, 1:15 : I was alone downstairs, so something was wrong ... After calling my friend, I realized that today is Saturday!

Who is right?

Have you ever been in a situation that you desperately think that the other person is totally wrong? .. and he/she does not listen? Well, first of all step back a bit and think again maybe you are the wrong person! If still you see you are right, well you are not the survivor of all human beings, and consequently you should not optimize the life of all people, yours should be enough!
So, next time you see such a person, don't use any force for justification ... smile and pass!

ICML Paper

Have you ever heard that worst things happen in the worst possible times?
Well I think it is somehow true. When you are not late, everyone give the way, offer you a ride, and traffic lights are green. But when you have only 2 minutes to reach your meeting, oh boy ... roads are damaged, rush hour, someone else blocks your way, etc ...

The same thing happened to the ICML paper submission which was due last night at 4 AM. Around 1 AM, we noticed that experiments were not averaged over trials, and around 2 AM we realized that some parameters were wrong! At last, we made it but never rush things for last minute. If no, traffic lights always would crave to meet you ;)
