Slow Mac

Problem: My Macbook Air was very slow even with running simple applications such as apple mail.

Solutions: I moved my emails older than 6 months to a separate directory. This reduced the size of inbox from 9K -> ~1K. I could sense a lot of speed up afterwards.

Explanation: I think updating the new incoming messages mixed with my other 9K messages made he indexing complicated.
