Can I have more memory please?

In the bank:

-Hi! Can I have this cheque in my account please?
-Hmm ... I am sorry sir but this is the receipt of the cheque!
(Damn! I probably throw the actual cheque in the garbage!)
-Can I request the university to give me another cheque?
-As long as the previous one is not cashed.

In the financial administration building:

-Hi! I think I lost my cheque. Is there anyway that I can have another one?
-No Problem. Let me check to see whether the cheque has been deposited or not.
...
-It seems someone cashed the cheque already!
(Oh my god! Now I am screwed!)
-Can we trace that, and see who did it and where?
-It was on 30th of Jan. The person is not indicated.

In my office:

I opened my laptop and checked my account online. I slowly began to remember some stuff.
On 30th of Jan, I received the cheque in my account!

Too much snow?

I can't recall that I prayed to God before to stop snowing even once! On the second day of boarding in Kicking Horse, I asked God for the first time that I have had enough of snow, please stop snowing. I could not believe that I could not pass through that much snow with my board...

Mac Vs. Linux

It took me more than two weeks! Yes exactly more than two weeks!!
What was it? Simple, I had a code which ran fine on Mac but not Linux! It was not compile error it was just different results...

The answer to this riddle was solved tonight after lots of checking, reimplementing, ...

"Linux (on 32 bit AMD) and Mac (on G4 power book) machines do binary operations differently!"

So if you don't want to be lost in your program for more than two weeks after you port your program keep this in mind ...

300

At first sight, very nice movie with lots of fascinating scenes and visual effects. Arrows, blades, fights, and ... monsters! Yes, those monsters are in the Iranian army, one of the most civilized cultures back in those days. It is really unfortunate that the movie making industry has been greatly influenced by the current politics, so far that directors don't feel any shame to change the history of the mankind arbitrary...

PS: I was really amazed today when I looked at the number of signatures here against this movie!
